roller coaster … a challenge

Some people like roller-coasters. They love the thrill when you hit the top of the hill and race down at ridiculous speeds, they love going upside down, backwards, or anything unexpected.

Me, I’m not one of those people. I am not the person you call up to go to the amusement park, and have a fun time getting sick on every ride. I’m the person that happily sits at the side of the ride holding everyone’s bags.

Yet at the moment I have that feeling of being on the top of the hill in a roller-coaster.  Everything is unpredictable. I don’t know if I am going to go backwards or forwards, upside down or round the loop. It is all unexpected, and I am surprisingly calm about it. While not necessarily enjoying the roller-coaster, I am not dreading it, and that is something new.

PS – I am aware that this is not a roller coaster, and no I didn’t go on this either!
