And as it has been a long time since my January post, I remind you again of the definition of embrace:
Embrace: to take and clasp in the arms; to clasp as in affection, greeting; to accept willingly or eagerly; to take up a new idea, faith etc., adopt; to comprise or include as an integral part; to encircle or enclose (from Old French a pair of arms)
Quiet … a strange word for this time of year. A word that seems to be a complete contradiction to what is required. For this is the season of end of year parties, and Christmas concerts, and shopping until dropping.
I am a bit late posting my spring reads, but I blame the weather. I am guessing when it feels a bit more like spring, it will actually be technically summer. Try explaining that to a five-year old, like I have been for the past few months. ‘Yes, I know it is spring by the calendar, but no, a tank top is not appropriate when the weather is 16C and raining.’
